Participate in our global Wave Rave celebration! Join people around the world as we unite for a common purpose – to celebrate the beauty and importance of our oceans. Rally your family and friends and join our team of Sea Save Foundation Ocean Angels to support our ongoing efforts stop the horrific practice of shark finning, poaching and overcome other ocean challenges.

Purpose: Ocean Conservation & Marine Life Protection
Date: Saturday, Aug 25 to Sunday, Aug 26
Time: Any time - throughout either day!
Host a "Wave Rave" event on Saturday August 25th, or Sunday August 26th.
The event can be large or small; dining party, quiz night, beach clean up, SCUBA club dive, cake sale, etc. It does not need to be elaborate as long as it's fun and celebrates the oceans. By many people around the world hosting events on the Wave Rave day, we will be sending a strong message that ocean conservation defies boundaries. In order to make a real difference, we must gather support from people of all political, religious and national affiliations.
Your Oceans Need You… for Global Ocean Wave Rave 2012!
Ocean Conservation and Marine Life Protection are so critical and yet these often go unnoticed with all the other key environmental issues affecting our planet. The Ocean's health is in danger. Studies show that our oceans and seas are literally dying from overfishing, acidification, pollution, immense garbage patches, poaching and numerous other insults, turning our once brimming oceans into barren waters.

Our Ocean Angel/Event Planner extraordinaire, Lynda, is available to help you plan your event in celebration/support of our beautiful oceans. Please e-mail her for any information/questions regarding hosting or attending an event. In addition, we ask you encourage you to take a picture and/or make a short film of your event so we can publish all your great work on the Sea Save Foundation website! Our last Wave Rave was an enormous success and we would love nothing more than to showcase everyone's celebrations and unity. |
